La muestra El Universo del Cordel trae al publico argentino un estilo de arte popular producido en el Nordeste del Brasil a partir de la literatura oral de origen ibérica. Folletines sencillos impresos en papel barato, acompañados de imágenes de grabados en madera, cuentan hechos históricos, celebran héroes populares, comentan la política, informan la populación. El cordel y el repente (la poesía oral inventada por dos cantores repentistas en el momento sobre un tema cualquier) expresan el alma del pueblo periférico de las ciudades nordestinas y del sertão del interior del Brasil.

Literatura del Cordel con 100.000 titulos, es el habla irreverente y poética del pueblo brasileño; los gravados que ilustran las tapas de los libritos son grandes ejemplos del arte espontaneo y libre del pueblo.
El Universo del Cordel se inauguró el 6 de noviembre. Continuará en exhibición hasta marzo de 2010, de lunes a viernes de 16 a 20 hs

With scanners + computers + printers & copiers, we can edit our little book colled cordel .
We can show and sell the text until we have written because it is a cordel.

This little cordel, simple craft can bring our voice to people around the world. Around the world, our voice, our words, our ideas, those who imagine ... or words and ideas and testimonies that people have written and we want to share or disclose around the world

the little cordel is called ¨string¨, because for display. we will hang its in, marks, fairs and cultural events
